Spring semester graduation of the TURBO project in Chernivtsi

On 19 June, the TURBO project held its spring semester graduation ceremony in Chernivtsi. A group of IDPs took part in a micro-accreditation educational programme on ‘IIntegrated Development: from Adaptation to Entrepreneurship’ at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Social adaptation measures (psychological and legal adaptation, assistance in finding employment or starting a business) were implemented by the non-governmental organisation ‘Centre for Economic Development and Social Adaptation’. Twenty-nine participants successfully completed the programme and received certificates, which were ceremoniously presented by the rector of the university, Ruslan Biloskursky, and the dean of the Faculty of Economics, Roman Hreshko. The event took place in the legendary Shevchenko Hall of the university. The graduation ceremony was preceded by a pitching of business projects developed by the participants during the course. During the graduation, the university team and the public organisation awarded active participants with special certificates in thematic categories according to the areas of their business plans. The project teachers were also awarded certificates. The graduates expressed their warm and sincere gratitude to the Chernivtsi project team for the knowledge, skills, contacts, and, most importantly, for the warm and respectful attitude, sincere desire to support everyone and provide maximum benefit during the several months of the project. Olga Filina, IFSA project coordinator, attended the event on behalf of IFSA and congratulated the participants and the team. We sincerely wish the graduates strength, inspiration, support and success.
