2024 is the first of three years of the TURBO project. During this year, all tasks within the current work packages were successfully completed. 7 Ukrainian universities conducted a stakeholder needs assessment, an analysis of the dynamics of the IDP population in the regions and an assessment of the needs of IDPs, analysed the labour market response in the regions to the influx of IDPs, and made a prospective assessment of the economic sustainability of the proposed programmes. Team assessed the needs of universities in the new environment, identified the main challenges and strategies for adapting to them, and identified the main competencies required and evaluated digital platforms. A detailed analysis of the model of social and professional adaptation developed during the implementation of the Norway-Ukraine project was carried out and an adaptation of this model was developed to increase the level of social adaptation of IDPs. A comparison was made between the training needs of IDPs and the current professions in the labour market. The IFSA team processed all the materials provided by the universities, made clarifications, and prepared and submitted consolidated reports to NORD University.
The universities developed innovative inclusive educational programmes and curricula, which were approved by the academic councils of the universities. Educational and methodological materials have been developed, and cooperation with NGOs has begun on the joint implementation of the project in 2025.
This project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under grant agreement No 101129315.
