Opening of the spring semester of the TURBO project in Chernihiv

On March 3, the official opening of the spring semester of the TURBO project took place in Chernihiv at the National University of Chernihiv Polytechnic. 30 IDP participants started a short-term educational program for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. Support in the areas of psychological adaptation, legal adaptation, employment in finding a job or starting a business is provided by the NGO Chernihiv European, a reliable partner of the university in implementing social projects.

The participants were congratulated on the start of the program by the rector of the university Oleh Novomlynets, the project coordinator from NORD University Veronika Vakulenko (online), the president of IFSA Volodymyr Rubtsov, and the head of the NGO Hanna Dyvnych.

Despite the fact that Chernihiv is located near the border, many people from the region, from areas where it is more dangerous due to the proximity of the enemy, and those who lost their homes due to enemy attacks, have moved to the city. The university was forced to restore windows, roofs, and premises twice during the full-scale invasion - in 2022 and 2024. And it did it confidently and steadily. Today, most classrooms have modern renovations, and the equipment for providing heat and energy is being updated and is becoming more technologically advanced and economical.
