On August 28, the official opening of the autumn semester of the TURBO project took place in Kyiv, in the main “red” building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
A group of participants, consisting of internally displaced persons, is beginning to study a microcredit training program in the field of “Business in the Digital Environment,” which was developed and is being implemented by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Psychological and legal adaptation support, assistance in finding employment and starting a business is provided by the public organization “Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Business Ideas.”
The university's vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Taras Kompanets, gave a welcoming speech. The head of the TURBO project at the university, Olena Lyubkina, spoke in detail about the program, its modules, and the organization of the educational process, giving vivid examples of the successes of participants in the previous project group. Teachers also provided details about the organization of training, the content, and the purpose of the program's thematic blocks.
The project manager from the NGO, Olena Fedorova, told the participants about the organization of training sessions and consultations, and also invited the project's psychologist and business coach to present the programs.
An important motivational element for the group was the presentation by last semester's project graduates, who not only confirmed the effectiveness of the course and social adaptation measures, but also shared their experiences and provided useful advice on choosing business project areas for development.
Olga Filina, the project coordinator from the IFSA, took part in the event and welcomed the participants.
We sincerely wish the group fruitful work, pleasant communication, and confidence on the way to achieving their goals.
